New Issue: Genel Energy prices $300 million 9¼% five-year bonds

New York, Sept. 25 – Genel Energy plc priced $300 million of 9¼% five-year bonds, according to the company’s notification with the London Stock Exchange.

The company may call the outstanding bond amount in December at 105.

Pareto Securities was bookrunner of the issuance.

Concurrently with the issuance of new bonds, the company is repurchasing $223 million of its existing $300 million of senior notes due December 2022 (ISIN: 001071088).

The London-based oil and natural gas exploration and production company operates in the Middle East and Africa.
