GenCorp starts roadshow Monday for $175 million 10-year notes

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, July 24 - GenCorp Inc. will start the roadshow Monday for an offering of $175 million senior subordinated notes due 2013 (B2/B+) and continue marketing through Aug. 6, according to a market source.

Deutsche Bank Securities is bookrunner on the Rule 144A deal.

Proceeds from the 10-year non-call-five notes will be used to finance the acquisition of the propulsion business of Atlantic Research Corp. and to refinance existing debt.

The issuer is a Sacramento, Calif.-based technology-based manufacturer in automotive, aerospace and defense and pharmaceutical fine chemical industries.
