Gemini Air Cargo estate fully administered; $1.2 million distributed

Pittsburgh, Feb. 18 – Gemini Air Cargo, Inc.’s Chapter 7 estate has been fully administered, according to a report filed Wednesday by Chapter 7 trustee Alan L. Goldberg with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.

A total of $1.2 million in net receipts from liquidation of the estate’s property were available for distribution.

The trustee said none of the $93,503 of secured claims filed against Gemini were allowed or paid.

Meanwhile, $1.17 million of $1.22 million in allowed Chapter 7 administrative claims were paid; $21,167 of $9.73 million in previous chapter administrative claims was paid; none of the $361,276 of priority unsecured claims was paid; and none of the $75.9 million in general unsecured claims were paid.

Goldberg asked the court to discharge him from his duties as Gemini’s trustee.

Gemini, a Dulles, Va.-based air cargo carrier, filed for bankruptcy on June 18, 2008. Its Chapter 7 case number is 08-18173.
