India's GE Capital Transportation plans to issue up to Rs. 250 million of commercial paper

New York, June 23 - GE Capital Transportation Financial Services Ltd. said it received approval from its board of directors for the issuance of commercial paper up to Rs. 250 million.

The commercial paper will carry a tenor of 260 days and will come due on March 10, 2006.

Citibank NA, Worli is the lead manager for the commercial paper.

GE Capital Transportation, based in New Delhi, India, belongs to the GE Capital group.
