New Issue: Russia-based Gazprom prices $750 million 4.95% notes at par

Atlanta, March 17 – Russia’s Gazprom OJSC – issuing via Gaz Capital SA – priced $750 million of 4.95% loan participation notes due March 23, 2027 (Ba1//BBB-) at par to yield 4.95%, according to a market source and an announcement from the company.

The notes came tighter than talk for a yield in the 5¼% area.

Bank GPB International SA, Bank of China Ltd. London Branch, J.P. Morgan Securities plc, Mizuho Securities USA Inc. and SMBC Nikko Capital Markets Ltd. were the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Gazprom is a Moscow-based natural gas producer.
