Garlock disclosure statement hearing postponed until further order

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Oct. 20 – Garlock Sealing Technologies LLC’s disclosure statement hearing was continued to a date to be set by a future court order, according to an agenda filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of North Carolina.

The hearing was previously scheduled for Oct. 22.

The agenda did not give a reason for the postponement. This is the third time the hearing has been rescheduled.

Garlock is a subsidiary of Charlotte, N.C.-based EnPro Industries Inc., which makes sealing products, bearings, compressors and engines. Garlock filed for bankruptcy on June 5, 2010, and its Chapter 11 case number is 10-31607.
