Garlock Sealing creditors committee appointed

Portland, Ore., June 17 - Garlock Sealing Technologies LLC's official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Thursday by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of North Carolina.

The committee members are Renee Stonitsch of Ryerson Inc., based in Lancaster, N.Y.; Darla Lacey of Jackson Welding Supply, based in Rochester, N.Y.; Gus Miller of Dexter Foundry Inc., based in Fairfield, Iowa; and Joel Rafaniello of Associated Spring a Business of Barnes Group, based in Farmington, Conn.

Garlock is a subsidiary of Charlotte, N.C.-based EnPro Industries, Inc., which makes sealing products, bearings, compressors and engines. Garlock filed for bankruptcy on June 5, and its Chapter 11 case number is 10-31607.
