Gabelli Convertible and Income Securities Fund expands investment team

Chicago, Dec. 8 – Gamco Investors, Inc. has named Tom Dinsmore, James Dinsmore and Jane O’Keeffe to the investment team of the Gabelli Convertible and Income Securities Fund effective Jan. 1.

They will join Mario Gabelli, who has been portfolio manager of the fund since its inception on July 3, 1989, according to a news release.

Tom Dinsmore previously served as president of the executive committee of the Closed-End Fund Association (US). He began his investment career in convertibles in 1981.

James Dinsmore has more than 10 years of convertible investment experience with Dinsmore Capital.

O’Keeffe has more than 35 years of investment experience, including senior roles with Dinsmore Capital and Fiduciary Trust.

The Gabelli Convertible and Income Securities Fund is a diversified, closed-end management investment company managed by Gabelli Funds LLC, a subsidiary of Gamco Investors.
