Fitch revises Gabon’s view to stable

Fitch said it revised the outlook on Gabon's long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating to stable from negative and affirmed the IDR at B.

“Following weak programme implementation in 2017 and 1H18, the government adopted a vast reform programme and completed all six of the prior actions required for completion of the second review under the IMF's Extended Fund Facility,” Fitch said in a news release.
