Gabelli SRI Green Fund may buy and sell options, futures contracts

Chicago, Sept. 12 - Gabelli SRI Green Fund, Inc. may now purchase and sell options and futures contracts on stock indexes, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The fund may purchase put and call options and write put and call options on stock indexes, or it may also purchase and sell stock index futures contracts as a hedge against movements in the equity markets or for speculative purposes.

The fund is managed by Gabelli Funds LLC, which is affiliated with Gamco Investors, Inc., based in Rye, N.Y.
