Alltel Georgia to redeem $10 million of its 6.5% debentures

Cleveland, Oct. 8 - Alltel Georgia Communications Corp. announced that it will redeem $10 million of its 6.5% debentures due Nov. 15, 2013 on Nov. 15.

The debentures will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest up to the date of redemption.

U.S. Bank NA is the agent.

Alltel is a Summerville, Ga.-based provider of voice and advanced data services.
