DBRS confirms Allied Irish Banks deposits
DBRS said it confirmed the rating of Allied Irish Banks plc’s long-term deposits guaranteed by the Irish government at A (high).
The trend remains stable.
The agency said the action follows the confirmation of the Ireland at A (high) with a stable trend on Feb. 16.
DBRS said the action does not impact the other ratings of the bank, including its long-term issuer rating and long-term senior debt rating, which remain at BBB with a positive trend.
The agency said that as a result of the guarantee, the deposits rating moves in line with the ratings of Ireland.
