Florida Gaming court adds 45 days to extension of exclusive periods

New York, April 15 - Florida Gaming Centers, Inc. received court approval to further extend its exclusive plan of reorganization filing and solicitation periods, according to a Tuesday order with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.

The company's exclusive filing period is extended through May 31 from April 16 and is solicitation period through July 31 from June 16.

As previously reported, the court granted the company a 120-day extension of its exclusive periods Dec. 16 in order to complete its sale process.

The company sold substantially all of its assets to credit agreement agent affiliate Fronton Holdings, LLC for about $155 million at the end of March.

Based in Miami, Florida Gaming owns and operates gaming facilities. The company filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 19 under Chapter 11 case number 13-29597.
