FirstEnergy Solutions posts $4.41 million April loss; revenue falls

Pittsburgh, May 29 – FirstEnergy Solutions Corp. reported a $4.41 million net loss for April on $169.51 million in total revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Those figures compared to $42.8 million of net income posted for March on $184.34 million in total revenue.

The company had $1,104,934,723 in cash and cash equivalents as of April 30, up from $1,101,494,255 at the end of March.

FirstEnergy Solutions is an Akron, Ohio, provider of energy and services to retail and wholesale customers. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 31, 2018 under Chapter 11 case number 18-50757.
