AAF-McQuay repurchases $15 million notes

New York, Feb. 12 - AAF-McQuay Inc. said it repurchased a total of $15 million of its senior notes in the first half of its fiscal 2002, which ended Dec. 31, 2001.

The Louisville, Ky. company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission it bought back $2 million of the notes in the first fiscal quarter and $13 million in the second.

The second quarter repurchases were funded with proceeds from the sale of AAF-McQuay's Singapore subsidiary.

As of Dec. 31, 2001, the company had $94 million of the senior notes outstanding.
