First Financial Bancorp, units file $100 million shelf registration

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 1 - First Financial Bancorp and its subsidiaries, FFBC Capital Trust I, FFBC Capital Trust II, FFBC Capital Trust III and FFBC Capital Trust IV, jointly filed a $100 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration for the parent company covers senior debt securities, subordinated debt securities, junior subordinated debt securities, common shares, purchase contracts, units, warrants, rights and guarantees.

The registration for the subsidiaries covers trust preferred capital securities, which will be guaranteed by First Financial Bancorp.

The securities may be convertible.

Use of proceeds will be set forth in the applicable prospectus supplement.

First Financial is a bank holding company based in Hamilton, Ohio.
