Alliance Data amends loan, eliminating term prepayment requirements

New York, June 21 - Alliance Data Systems Corp. amended its credit facility, removing the term loan prepayments that were required beginning on June 30 and providing that all principal and interest be paid on March 30, 2012, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday.
In addition, the amendment clarified the application of Accounting Standards Codification 860 to the calculation of compliance with the covenants.
The amendment was completed on June 18.
Bank of Montreal is the administrative agent on the deal.
Alliance Data is a Dallas-based provider of loyalty and marketing services.
