CR Intrinsic Investors reports ownership of Alliance Data Systems stock

Charlotte, N.C., Feb. 4 - Alliance Data Systems Corp. investors led by CR Intrinsic Investors, LLC used $396.81 million of investment capital to purchase the 5,158,700 shares of Alliance Data common stock they currently own.

The investors reported a number of buy and sell transactions between Dec. 14 and Feb. 1 in a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. They now hold a 6.6% stake in the company.

Dallas-based Alliance Data provides marketing, loyalty and transaction services.
