Fitch affirms Finance Co.

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the BBB(lka) national long-term rating assigned to the Finance Co. plc and affirmed the BBB-(lka) rating of the subordinated debentures.

The outlook is stable.

Fitch said the rating considers significant market share in the finance company sector, as well as comfort derived from its main shareholder, Ceylinco Consolidated Group.

The rating is constrained by low capitalization, weak asset quality and the risks inherent to the finance sector, the agency said.
