FedEx to redeem all €500 million 0.5% notes due 2020 on Aug. 21

Olympia, Wash., July 22 – FedEx Corp. plans to redeem all €500 million of its outstanding 0.5% notes due 2020 on Aug. 21, according to a press release.

The notes will be redeemed at a redemption price equal to par plus a make-whole premium calculated using a discount rate of Treasuries plus 15 basis points plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The redemption is subject to the successful completion of FedEx’s proposed issuance of dollar-denominated notes and euro-denominated notes.

FedEx is a Memphis, Tenn.-based package and freight transportation company.
