FHLBank will not issue, reopen Global debt program on Thursday

Knoxville, Tenn., July 21 – The Federal Home Loan Bank System said it will not issue or reopen debt through its Global debt program on Thursday. The next Global opportunity is Aug. 17.
FHLBank System typically launches four to 10 syndicated Global bonds of $3 billion or more in a 12-month period, according to its website. The bank also launches numerous non-syndicated bonds of $1 billion or larger each year.
FHLBank System is a Washington, D.C.-based government-sponsored enterprise that provides member financial institutions funding support for mortgage lending and community investment.
