FHLBank will not tap Global Debt program on July 8 opportunity

Knoxville, Tenn., July 8 – The Federal Home Loan Bank System said it will not issue or reopen debt through its Global Debt program on July 8. The next Global opportunity is July 19.

FHLBank System typically launches four to 10 syndicated Global bonds of $3 billion or more in a 12-month period, according to its website. The bank also launches numerous non-syndicated bonds of $1 billion or larger each year.

FHLBank System is a Washington, D.C.-based government-sponsored enterprise that provides member financial institutions funding support for mortgage lending and community investment.
