Allegheny Technologies selling $300 million 10-year notes Tuesday

New York, July 9 - Allegheny Technologies Inc. is in Tuesday's market with a $300 million offering of 10-year senior notes (Baa3/BBB-/), according to market sources and a press release.

The notes feature a change-of-control put at 101%. There will be a make-whole call over Treasuries until three months prior to maturity and a par call afterward.

Bookrunners are BofA Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The specialty metals producer is based in Pittsburgh.
