Exterran files automatic shelf for debt securities, preferred stock

Tacoma, Wash., June 3 - Exterran Holdings, Inc. filed an automatic shelf registration for an undisclosed amount of securities in an S-3ASR with the Securities and Exchange Commission Wednesday.

Covered by the shelf are senior debt securities, subordinated debt securities, preferred stock, common stock and warrants.

The debt securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Exterran is a Houston-based oil and gas production company.
