Extended Stay posts $1.81 million operating income for July

New York, Aug. 18 - Extended Stay, Inc. reported $1.81 million of operating income in July on $75.68 million in total revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Extended Stay also reported a $20.58 million net loss for July.

The company had $3.00 million in cash and cash equivalents at July 31, up from $1.87 million at the end of June.

Extended Stay, a New York-based owner and operator of mid-priced extended stay hotels, filed for bankruptcy on June 15. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-13764.
