Moody's rates Mexim notes A3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A3 rating to Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Bhd.'s proposed 10-year dollar-denominated senior unsecured fixed-rate notes.

The bank's other ratings are A3 on its long-term foreign currency senior unsecured debt and provisional A3 on its long-term foreign currency senior unsecured medium-term note program.

The outlook is stable.

Moody's said the A3 rating incorporates the bank's standalone credit profile of 14 and is in line with the A3 rating for the government of Malaysia due to very high government support and dependence factors.
