Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 12 – Exiqon A/S announced the issue of a DKK 40 million three-year 9¼% senior secured note.
The callable note is fully subscribed, subject to customary conditions, by Ture Invest AB, according to a news release.
Interest on the note is payable quarterly.
Proceeds will be used to further develop the company’s recently launched cloud platform for life science researchers, XploreRNA; to expand the company’s product offerings within RNA analysis and for general corporate purposes, including refinancing of current debt.
Exiqon is a Copenhagen-based biotechnology company.
