Omaha, Sept. 25 - Exelon Generation Co., LLC priced an upsized $700 million of 6.2% 10-year senior notes Tuesday to yield Treasuries plus 165 basis points, an informed source said.
The issue was launched at $500 million.
The notes (A3/BBB+/BBB+) were priced at 99.756 to yield 6.233%.
There is a make-whole call at Treasuries plus 25 bps.
Bookrunners were Barclays Capital Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc.
Proceeds will be used to refinance the company's commercial paper and for general corporate purposes.
Exelon is an electric company based in Kennett Square, Pa.
