By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Feb. 4 – Exco Resources, Inc.’s exclusive periods under which only the company can file and solicit votes on a Chapter 11 plan have been extended under an order filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

The exclusive plan-filing period was extended through Feb. 15 and the solicitation period through April 16.

As previously reported, Exco’s plan confirmation hearing was adjourned in December “to a date to be determined.”

A plan confirmation status conference is scheduled for Feb. 19.

Exco is a Dallas-based oil and gas exploration and production company operating in Texas, North Louisiana and Appalachia. The company filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 15, 2018 under Chapter 11 case number 18-30155.
