Evergreen Solar reports $4.86 million net loss Feb. 26 through March 31

Wilmington, Del., April 27 - Evergreen Solar, Inc. reported a net loss of $4.86 million for the period from Feb. 26 through March 31, according to the company's monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The the company reported zero net revenue for the period.

Those figures compare to a $1.63 million net loss for Jan. 29 to Feb. 25, also on zero net revenue.

The company also reported $5.73 million in cash and cash equivalents as of March 31, down from $16.4 million as of Feb. 25.

Evergreen Solar is a Marlboro, Mass.-based producer of solar power. The company filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 15, 2011 under Chapter 11 case number 11-12590.
