Evergreen Solar posts $7.91 million net loss for Oct. 30-Nov. 26

Pittsburgh, Jan. 5 - Evergreen Solar, Inc. reported a net loss of $7.91 million on $516,913 of net revenues for the period of Oct. 30 to Nov. 26, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

In comparison, Evergreen posted a net loss of $4.52 million for the period of Oct. 2 to Oct. 29 on net revenues of $335,824.

For the Oct. 30 to Nov. 26 period, the company reported cash and cash equivalents of $25.3 million, down from $39.69 million for the October period.

Evergreen Solar is a Marlboro, Mass.-based producer of solar power. The company filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 15 under Chapter 11 case number 11-12590.
