Evergreen Investments shuffles municipal bond group employees

Springdale, Ark., Aug 18 - Evergreen Investments announced on Monday new key appointments in its municipal bond group.

Mathew Kiselak, who had been the lead portfolio manager of several Evergreen municipal bond funds, now will be head of Evergreen's municipal bond group. He will be the lead portfolio manager on all internally managed municipal money market and municipal bond mutual funds.

Current municipal bond team members Dennis Derby, Ladson Hart, Charles Jeanne and James Randazzo have been named co-managers of Evergreen's funds.

The changes are effective immediately.

Evergreen's municipal bond services will be supported by its credit research teams, which include 11 analysts led by Ken Anderson and Jill Richman.

Wachovia Corp. operates investment management services through Evergreen Investments, which has 300 employees and manages more than $245 billion in assets.
