Evergreen International granted more time to respond to Chapter 7 filing

Charlotte, N.C., Jan. 16 - Evergreen International Airlines, Inc.'s Chapter 7 trustee Alfred T. Giuliano filed a stipulation with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.

The stipulation extends the time for Evergreen to respond to an involuntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy case filed against it by three creditors to Jan. 31 from Jan. 10.

As previously reported, the petitioning creditors are Five Towns Motor Inn, Inc., which has a $436,044 services claim; Sunrise One, LLC, with a $6,667 services claim; and Aero Snow Removal Corp., with a $24,971 goods and services claim.

Evergreen is a McMinnville, Ore.-based aviation services company. The Chapter 7 case number is 13-47494.
