India’s Allahabad Bank issues Rs. 10 billion in tier II bonds

Chicago, Dec. 22 – Allahabad Bank informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it has issued Rs. 10 billion in Basel III compliant tier II bonds on a private placement basis.

The bonds are eligible for inclusion in the tier II capital of the bank, according to a news release.

Allahabad Bank is a Kolkata, India-based nationalized bank.
