Eutelsat tightens talk on €600 million five-year notes to 9¾%-10%; books close Wednesday

By Paul A. Harris

Portland, Ore., March 27 – Eutelsat SA tightened talk on its €600 million offering of five-year senior notes (Ba3/B+/BB+) on Wednesday, according to market sources.

Revised talk has the notes pricing in a 9¾% to 10% range versus earlier official talk that had them coming in a yield range of 10% to 10¼%.

Books were scheduled to close late Wednesday afternoon, London-time.

The notes are non-callable for two years.

BNP Paribas is leading the Regulation S and Rule 144A deal.

Proceeds will be used for the partial refinancing of the company’s 2% senior notes due 2025.

Eutelsat is a Paris-based telecommunications company and satellite operator.
