Eurotunnel restructuring talks, British, French share suspension prolonged with talk of new investors

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, May 18 - Eurotunnel SA asked British and French market authorities to continue suspension of its shares to allow discussions on restructuring of the company's debt to continue with a Goldman Sachs/Macquarie consortium because the consortium may be enlarged, according to a company news release.

In addition, Eurotunnel said its mid-May review has been postponed.

Eurotunnel is the Paris-based operator of the Channel Tunnel.
