New Issue: Morgan Stanley sells $1.48 million buffered PLUS tied to index basket

Olympia, Wash., March 1 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC priced $1.48 million of 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due March 1, 2024 linked to a basket of the S&P 500 index with a 65% weight and the Euro Stoxx 50 index with a 35% weight, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 151% of any basket gain.

If the basket finishes flat or falls by up to 30%, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 30%.
