New Issue: GS Finance sells $2.64 million digital underlier-linked notes on Stoxx 50, EM ETF

Morgantown, W.Va., Aug. 13 – GS Finance Corp. priced $2.64 million of 0% digital underlier-linked notes due Aug. 9, 2024 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund and the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the return of each underlier is greater than or equal to negative 30%, the payout at maturity will be the greater of the threshold settlement amount, $1,725 per $1,000 principal amount, and par plus the return of the lesser performing underlier.

If either underlier falls by more than 30%, investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the lesser performing underlier.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
