GS Finance plans autocallable buffered notes 2021 on Euro Stoxx 50

New York, June 11 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% autocallable buffered notes due June 17, 2021 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the index closes at or above the initial index level on a call observation date, the notes will be automatically called at par plus a call premium.

The call premium is 14.5% on June 17, 2019 and 29% on June 17, 2020.

If the notes are not called and the index return is zero or positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of the index return and 30%.

Investors will receive par if the index declines by 5% or less and will be exposed to any decline beyond 5%.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.

The notes will price on June 12 and settle on June 15.

The Cusip number is 40055QFD9.
