New Issue: Morgan Stanley prices $1.07 million buffered participation notes on index, ETF

Minneapolis, Feb. 7 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC priced $1.07 million of 0% buffered participation securities due May 3, 2019 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.
If each underlying asset’s return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the return of the lesser-performing underlying.
Investors will receive par if either underlying declines by up to 20% and will lose 1% for every 1% that the lesser-performing underlying declines beyond 20%.
