New Issue: HSBC sells $1.79 million barrier enhanced notes on Stoxx 50, EAFE ETF

Morgantown, W.Va., Dec. 1 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $1.79 million of 0% barrier enhanced participation notes due Nov. 25, 2022 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index and the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 414B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 3.55 times any gain of the lesser performing asset.

Investors will receive par if the lesser performing asset falls by up to 35% and will be fully exposed to the decline of the lesser performing asset if it falls by more than 35%.
