Barclays plans buffered return enhanced notes linked to Euro Stoxx 50

Tacoma, Wash., May 23 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered return enhanced notes due May 29, 2020 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final index level is greater than the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.125 times the index return. Investors will receive par if the index declines by 30% or less and will lose 1.4286% for every 1% that it declines beyond 30%.

Barclays is the agent with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA as placement agents.

The notes will price May 26.

The Cusip number is 06741VWE8.
