New Issue: HSBC sells $364,000 buffered uncapped market notes tied to index basket

Morgantown, W.Va., June 3 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $364,000 of 0% buffered uncapped market participation securities due May 31, 2019 linked to a basket of unequally weighted indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The underlying components are the Russell 2000 index with a 20% weight, the S&P 500 index with a 50% weight and the Euro Stoxx 50 index with a 30% weight.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.15 times any basket gain.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.
