New Issue: Morgan Stanley prices $2.22 million buffered PLUS notes linked to index basket

Chicago, Aug. 27 – Morgan Stanley priced $2.22 million of 0% buffered PLUS notes due Aug. 27, 2020 linked to a basket of indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of the S&P 500 index with a 40% weight, the Euro Stoxx 50 index with a 20% weight, the Russell 2000 index with a 20% weight and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund with an 20% weight.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 160% any basket gain.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 10% and will lose 1.1111% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.
