New Issue: Goldman Sachs prices $7.24 million leveraged notes tied to Euro Stoxx 50

Chicago, July 27 – Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $7.24 million of 0% leveraged index-linked notes due July 27, 2017 tied to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any index gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,352.50 for each $1,000 principal amount.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
