Barclays plans buffered performance securities on Euro Stoxx 50

New York, Dec. 3 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered performance securities due Dec. 31, 2019 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to an FWP with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index finishes at or above the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 126% to 136% of the gain, with the exact participation rate to be set at pricing.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 20% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 20%.
The notes (Cusip: 06742Y337) will price on Dec. 29 and settle on Dec. 31.
