Barclays plans trigger autocallable optimization notes on Euro Stoxx

Madison, Wis., June 30 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% trigger autocallable optimization securities due July 8, 2016 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be called at par of $10 plus a call return of 7.2% per year if the index closes at or above the initial index level on any quarterly observation date.

If the notes are not called and the index finishes at or above the trigger level, 80% of the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par.

Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to any losses.

UBS Financial Services Inc. and Barclays are the underwriters.

The notes will price on July 1 and settle on July 7.

The Cusip number is 06742W471.
