Goldman plans callable monthly range accrual notes on Euro Stoxx 50

San Luis Obispo, Calif., May 5 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price callable monthly Euro Stoxx 50 index-linked range accrual notes due May 29, 2029, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The interest rate will be 15% for the first three months. After that it will be 15% multiplied by the proportion of days on which the index closes at or above the initial index level. Interest is payable monthly.

The payout at maturity will be par.

The notes will be callable at par on any interest payment date beginning Aug. 29.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.

The notes (Cusip: 38147Q5D4) are expected to price May 23 and settle May 29.
