Goldman Sachs amends participation rate for leveraged buffered notes linked to Euro Stoxx 50

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Oct. 25 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. amended the participation rate for its upcoming offering of 36- to 40-month 0% leveraged buffered notes linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will now be par plus 1.2 times to 1.3 times the index return.
The issuer previously listed the participation rate as 1.25 times to 1.35 times the index return.
If the index declines by 15% or less, the payout will be par. If the index declines by more than that, investors will lose 1.1765% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 15%.
The exact upside participation rate will be set at pricing.
