Alkermes buys back $60 million 7% notes in quarter

New York, Nov. 6 - Alkermes, Inc. announced the repurchase of $60 million of its 7% non-recourse Risperdal Consta secured notes during the second quarter of fiscal 2009 ended Sept. 30.

The company said it paid $57.7 million for the notes.

Alkermes is a Cambridge, Mass., pharmaceutical company.
